Something new!

We’ve been extra busy here on the farm for the best of reasons; a new little beekeeper joined our crew last month! All the others are obsessed so far and can’t get enough of holding the littlest one.

While we haven’t been getting as much knocked off the to do list, that hasn’t stopped us from planning. Our lists are drawn up and we’re just about ready to start tackling them again. It’s filled with winter prep - finalizing sap lines, winterizing the bees, sap house updates, etc. There will also be a final honey harvest soon so keep an eye out for that!

Our bird feeder has been kept stocked lately so we can watch while laying low. It’s been filled with mostly tufted titmice and the occasional finch, cardinal, and others.
