Long time, no write!

For a few months we were honestly pretty worried about the upcoming maple season. We didn’t want to alarm you all, but there was a real possibility we might not have been able to produce as much of the good stuff as we hoped.

Last year we ordered supplies for expanding our maple operation. The most crucial part, a vacuum pump, ended up lost in transit for months. To make it worse, there weren’t any readily available replacements for the model we ordered. Our supplier finally was able to get their hands on it in December. From then on it was a mad scramble to get everything set in place! Thankfully it all worked out! The weather is also cooperating and it’s looking like a great season. Get ready for an influx of delicious syrup! Also, stay tuned for a post on why we think our maple flavor is unique.
